Detailed Itinerary of the 6 Days (Uganda Safari) Gorilla & Wildlife Tour

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

On arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, you are picked up by our experienced Company Driver Guide, who transfers you along the Kampala-Gulu Highway towards Murchison Falls National Park. Transfer for a period of 4–5 hours and after a while driving, you reach the Park then check-in your lodge/ hotel for Dinner and Overnight at Paraa Safari lodge, Red chili Rest camp, Sambiya safari lodge.

Day 2: Game drive and Boat Cruise

Wake up have breakfast then transfer to enjoy a Game Drive along the various tracks in the Park watching wildlife animals like elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffe and the Uganda kobs etc. After the drive, break off for lunch then later proceed to experience an afternoon Boat Cruise along the Victoria Nile where you watch various Hippos, crocodiles and bird species as you transfer to the Bottom of the Falls. After the experience, proceed back to your lodge/ hotel for Dinner and Overnight. Paraa safari lodge, Red chili rest camp, Sambiya safari lodge.

Day 3 of the 6 Days (Uganda Safari) Gorilla & Wildlife Tour : Chimpanzee Tracking in Budongo Forest

Wake up have breakfast then transfer to the stunning green forest of Budongo at the Kaniyo Pabidi Eco-Tourism Site headquarters for briefing on the Dos and Don’ts around the Chimpanzees then later in groups with an experienced park ranger guide transfer into the forest to track the Chimpanzees for 2-4 hours depending on where they are located and when you meet them, take numerous photos to keep for memories. After Chimpanzee Tracking, `proceed back to your lodge/ hotel for Dinner and Overnight. Paraa safari lodge, Red chili rest camp, Sambiya safari lodge.

Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park

Wake up have breakfast then transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park and en-route, enjoy views of the Albertine Escarpment as well as bird species. Have en-route lunch then after proceed on your journey and when you reach the ark, check-in your lodge/ hotel for Dinner and Overnight. Buhoma community Bandas, Lake Kitandara Bwindi camp, Gorilla resort.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest

Wake up have breakfast then transfer to the Park headquarters for briefing on the Dos and Don’ts around the Mountain Gorillas then later in groups of 8 with a skilled park ranger guide, transfer into the forest to track the Mountain Gorillas for 3-5 hours and when you meet them, you are allowed an hour to stay in their presence taking numerous photos to keep for memories. After Gorilla Trekking, proceed back to your lodge/ hotel for Dinner and Overnight. Buhoma Community Bandas, Lake Kitandara Bwindi camp, Gorilla Resort.

Day 6: Departure to Kampala

Wake up have breakfast then transfer to Kampala or the Entebbe International Airport to board your flight back home.
