Detailed Itinerary of the 9 Days Uganda Wildlife & Mountain Elgon Hiking Tour

Day 1: Arrival and Pick Up at Airport

On arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, you are picked up by our experienced company driver guide who transfers you to check-in your hotel for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Sheraton Hotel Kampala, Cassia Lodge Buziga, Excellent Hotel.

Day 2: Experience a Kampala City tour

Wake up have breakfast then transfer on a City Tour around Kampala’s various Safari attractions i.e the Bahai Temple, Uganda Martyr’s Shrine in Namugongo, Namirembe Cathedral, Makerere University, Kasubi Tombs etc. After your City Tour, proceed back to your lodge/ hotel for Dinner and Overnight.  Sheraton Hotel Kampala, Cassia Lodge Buziga, Excellent Hotel.

Day 3: Transfer to Jinja at the Source of the River Nile

Wake up have breakfast then transfer to Jinja Town  and en-route, break off to visit the Sezibwa falls  known to have been born by a human. After exploring the Falls, proceed on your transfer to Jinja Town with en-route views of the  green scenery and tea plantations as well as sugarcane plantations. Continue with your journey then later you reach the Town break off for lunch and after continue to River Nile to experience a Boat cruise to the Source of the Nile. Day 4: White Water Rafting along River Nile

Wake up have breakfast then transfer to the Banks of River Nile where  you leave to enjoy White water Rafting as you beat the various Rapids of River Nile and these are chosen according to grades as well as the preferences of the travelers. After Rafting the Nile, proceed back to your lodge/  hotel for Relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Haven Lodge Jinja.

Day 5: Transfer to Mountain Elgon National Park

Wake up have breakfast then transfer to Mountain Elgon National Park a journey that rewards you views of the green terrain vegetation, birds. Reach in the Late Afternoon and transfer to check in your lodge/ hotel for Dinner and Overnight. Sipi River Lodge.

Day 6: Nature walk along Mountain Elgon

Wake up have breakfast then transfer on a guided nature walk to the stunning Sipi Falls and en-route, watch the green vegetation, birds and the waterfalls. The Floral Species you view include; the Elgonensis lobelia and dotted clusters of peculiar groundsels etc. Break off for lunch then later visit the caves, coffee plantations, matooke and sugar cane. In the evening, return to your hotel/ lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Sipi River Lodge.

Day 7: Transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Wake up have breakfast then transfer to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you track the White Rhinos in their natural forest vegetation habitat. You drive for a certain period of time and when you reach here, you are amazed at how the Rhinos enjoy their habitat to the fullest. After tracking the Rhinos, proceed to your lodge/ hotel for Relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Amuka Safari Lodge.

Day 8: Transfer on Game Drive in Murchison Falls National Park

Wake up have breakfast then transfer to Murchison Falls National Park to enjoy a Game Drive along the various tracks an adventure that rewards you with views at wildlife animals i.e giraffes, Elephants, Bushbucks Lion, Jackal, Hartebeest and a variety of birds. Transfer to the Top of the Falls where you view the Falls gushing deep down into a sharp hole, bird species, the colorful rainbow descending within the falls. After the drive, break off for lunch then proceed back to enjoy a Game Drive then later, transfer back to your lodge/ hotel for Dinner and Overnight. Paraa Safari Lodge.

Day 9: Departure to Kampala

Wake up have breakfast then with your luggage, transfer back to Kampala or the Entebbe International Airport to board your flight back home.
