Detailed Itinerary of the 3 Days Luxury (Mgahinga) Gorillas & Golden Monkey Safari

Day 1: Mgahinga National Park

When you reach Entebbe international Airport, a company driver guide meets and welcomes you then transfers you to Mgahinga National Park. Have lunch then continue via Mbarara to Kisoro. En-route have views of the green terrain, birds then after you reach the park and check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Ikoro Lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla Trek in Mgahinga National Park

Get up very early have breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters for short briefing on code of conduct around Mountain Gorillas. After in allocated groups of 8 with a skilled ranger guide per cluster, proceed to enter forest to trek the Gorillas for 3-5 hours depending on their current location of the Mountain Gorillas in the forest.

On meeting the Gorillas stay in their presence taking many photos to keep for memories. After taking numerous photos using a camera with no flash, return to lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Ikoro Lodge.

Day 3: Golden Monkey Tracking and Departure

On this Day have breakfast then continue to the park headquarters for short briefing on the conduct around the Golden Monkeys in their natural forest habitat then later continue with a guide to follow different trails as they jump from one tree branch to another. Follow them as you track them for 2-4 hours taking many photos to keep for memories. After tracking the Golden Monkeys, embark on departure to Kampala or the Entebbe International Airport to board a flight back home.
