Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Mgahinga National Park 

On arrival at the Entebbe international Airport, you are picked up by a company driver guide who transfers you to Mgahinga National Park in Kisoro via Mbarara town. Break off for lunch in Mbarara then later proceed on your transfer to Kisoro and when you reach there, proceed to check-in your lodge/hotel for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Mount Gahinga Lodge, Kisoro Travelers Hotel, Kisoro Tourist Hotel.

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking in Mgahinga National Park

3 Days Gorillas & Golden Monkey trek Wake up have breakfast then transfer to the park headquarters for briefing around the Mountain Gorillas. Then in groups of 8 with a skilled ranger guide, transfer into the forest to track the Gorillas for a period of 3-5 hours depending on their location at the time.

When you meet them, you are allowed an hour to stay in their presence taking photos to keep for memories. Afterwards proceed back to the headquarters for your certificate then later proceed to your lodge/ hotel for Dinner and Overnight. Mount Gahinga Lodge, Kisoro Travelers Hotel, Kisoro Tourist Hotel.

Day 3: Golden Monkey Tracking then Departure

Wake up have breakfast then transfer for briefing about Golden Monkey Tracking in Mgahinga National Park then later in groups, transfer into the forest to track the Golden Monkeys for 2-4 hours following them on various trails as they jump from one tree branch to another. After you Golden Monkey Tracking Adventure, break off for lunch then later embark on your transfer to Kampala/ Entebbe International Airport to board your flight back home.
