Day 1: UWEC and Botanical Gardens
When you arrive at the Entebbe International Airport, you are picked up by a company driver who transfers you on tour around Entebbe then to UWEC and the Botanical Gardens. On arrival here watch various birds like the Crested shrike flycatcher, Lead colored, Swamp flycatcher, African paradise Red bellied and weavers i.e the rare Northern Masked Weaver, Black Necked, Golden Backed, Northern Brown Throated, Grosbeak, Baglafect. Dinner and Overnight at Lake Victoria Serena.
Day 2: Semliki National Park
Have breakfast and transfer to the Western part of Uganda (Mubende), en-route visit Nakayima tree then later proceed to Semliki National Park and when you reach here, embark on a guided nature walk to visit the local people who take you through their daily livelihood. Day 3: Explore the Hot Springs in Semliki
Have breakfast then transfer to explore the unique Sempaya Hot springs on a guided nature walk with a guide who informs you about the hot springs. While here you deep plantain and eggs which boil into the springs and get ready for consumption. After the exploration of the hot springs, continue traversing the hot swamp where you watch the rare Sitatunga and birds.
Break of for lunch then transfer to visit the local Batwa People of Semliki an adventures that gives you insight into their way of life as you enjoy traditional songs, music and drama. After your adventure return to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Mountains of the Moon Hotel.
Day 4: Fort Portal
Have breakfast then transfer to Fort portal at the King’s Palace as well as the royal burial grounds of the Karambi Royal Tombs. Have lunch then embark on adventure to explore the stunning crater lakes in the region. Day 5 of the 10 Days Uganda Chimps Wildlife and Cultural Tour: Kibale National Park
Kibale Forest National Park is your exciting safari destination today as you transfer to the majestic Park situated in the Western Part of Uganda after Fort portal Town. En-route enjoy lunch then proceed to the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary where you embark on a guided nature walk where you watch various bird species flying around their natural forest vegetation habitat like the Snowy Headed Robin Cat, Black and White Casqued Hornbill, Emerald Cuckoo and a variety of Weavers, Warblers, Green-breasted pitta and Sunbirds. After the walk around Bigodi, you proceed to Kibale Forest National Park at your lodge to check-in for Dinner and Overnight. Kibale Forest Camp.
Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth
Have breakfast then transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park in the Western Part of Uganda to enjoy Wildlife viewing. You watch various wildlife animals like elephants, buffalos, Giant Forest Hog, lion, leopard, Hippopotamus, waterbucks, crocodiles, warthogs as well as bird species like African Skimmer, Shoebill, White Naped Pigeon, Forest Flycatcher, Rwenzori Turaco, Chapin’s Flycatcher, Pink Backed Pelicans, Verreaux’s Eagle Owl.
You also go on Boat Cruise along the Kazinga Channel where you watch various other wildlife animals along the banks, schools of hippo and crocodiles beneath the waters. Dinner and overnight at Jacana safari Lodge.
Day 7: Chimpanzee Tracking at Kyambura Gorge
Get up early have breakfast then proceed to Kyambura Gorge to track the Chimpanzees and on reaching the Gorge continue to the headquarters for briefing on the conduct around the Chimpanzees then later go to the forest to track the Chimpanzees for 2-4 hours and when you meet them and take photos to keep for memories. After your lunch, visit the Katwe explosion craters that will reward you with views of the Kyemendo crater and Lake Kitagata. Dinner and overnight in your lodge at Jacana safari Lodge
Day 8: Transfer to Lake Mburo
Have breakfast then transfer via the acacia range lands of Ankole Kingdom in the rift’s eastern hinterland towards Lake Mburo National Park. After a while you reach Lake Mburo National Park then watch wildlife en-route like Impala, Burchell’s zebra and Eland. Enjoy lunch then proceed on boat cruise along Lake Mburo where you watch wildlife along the shores like waterbucks, reedbucks, common duiker, oribi, buffalo as well as hippos, crocodiles etc. Dinner and overnight at Mantana luxury tented camp.
Day 9: Kampala City
Today enjoy breakfast then transfer to the stunning Kampala City a journey that takes you 3 to 4 hours with lunch en-route and after a while you reach the City and embark on City Tour exploring the various attractions like the Bahai Temple, King’s Place Bulange, Namugongo Martyrs’ shrine etc. After your City Tour check-in your lodge for Dinner and Overnight.
