Day 1: Arrival-Pick up

Upon your arrival, you will be picked from the Entebbe International Airport by our company driver guide for a transfer to your Hotel. For early arrivals, embark on birding adventure in the Entebbe Botanical Gardens were you will be rewarded with sightings of various birdlife. Time allowing you will drive to the Uganda wildlife education centre (UWEC) that is known for hosting over 170 species of wild birds. Possible sightings on this tour may include the 5 species of flycatchers which include the Crested shrike flycatcher, Lead colored, Swamp flycatcher, African paradise Red bellied besides the weavers that include the rare Northern Masked Weaver, Black Necked, Golden Backed, Northern Brown Throated, Grosbeak, Baglafect ,and  raptors such as the Gabar Goshawk, small banded snake Eagle, Shikra, African Goshawk, African Fish Eagle, African Hobby. Day 2: Transfer-Kampala

This morning after your breakfast, you will be picked from your hotel and set off for the Uganda’s capital city tour. You will have enroute stopovers that will reward you with marvelous sighting attractions; these include the Kigungu landing site, Muzinga square, Zamugula site and the magnificent Bemba cave in Ziika ecotourism forest site. Explore Buganda beginning with a visit to the Kasubi tombs (royal burial ground) you will be welcomed by the descendants of the king’s wives who take care for the site. After your lunch drive to the platform where the Buganda Kings are crowned at Nagagalabi Buddo coronation site. You will thereafter proceed and visit the Wamala tombs and the Katereke prison ditch. Transfer back for dinner and overnight at Sheraton Hotel

Day 3: City tour

Today after breakfast expect to explore the heart of Kampala. Catch-up with the magnificent ethnographic exhibits and archaeological and natural history displays in the Uganda Museum. Enjoy a visit to the prominent religious buildings in Uganda that include the Bahai Temple the first of it’s kind in Africa, the Martyrs shrines in Namugongo as well as Namirembe cathedral, Rubaga Cathedral and the Kampala Hindu Temple. Dinner and over night at Sheraton Hotel

Day 4: Transfer-Jinja

You will be picked from your hotel after your early morning breakfast and drive off to Jinja. You will be rewarded with enroute attractions like the magnificent flora and fauna that includes the Mabira forest, Kakira sugarcane and Madhvani tea plantations and also come across the Uganda’s Electricity manufacturing point, the Owen Falls dam. You will proceed for adventure of the Busoga Kingdom with a visit to the Kyabazinga’s palace (King of Busoga Kingdom). Dinner and overnight at Wild waters lodge

Day 5: River Nile experience

This morning embark on the discovery of the source of River Nile. This will reward you with a tour to the Speke Monument. A boat ride on the magnificent Nile River will reward you with spectacular views of the source.   After your lunch a tour to the Bujagali falls will engage you in quad biking along the banks of the Nile where you explore various paths and trails. Transfer for dinner and overnight at Wild waters lodge

Day 6: Transfer-Tororo

This morning after breakfast, embark on hilarious experience of climbing the Tororo Rock hill where the highest altitude of the hill is 4865ft. you will be rewarded with a  visit to the ancestral cave and the various Rock paintings. Return back for lunch at the Hotel. In the afternoon, take pleasure from the community entertainment as you get exposed to the cultural performances from the native residents of the area. Transfer for dinner and overnight at Tororo Rock Hotel

Day 7: Sipi Falls

After your breakfast, drive off to Mbale for a visit to the superlative Sipi Falls. You will be rewarded with views of a series of the three tall waterfalls plugging along the lower slopes of Mount Elgon. The different trails will expose you to the magnificent flora surrounding these waterfalls as you descend for the exposure. Get in an interactive community walk were you will visit the Bagisu Local leader that will expose you to the different cultural practices and way of life of the natives in the area. Transfer for dinner and overnight at Sipi River Lodge

Day 8: Departure                                 

Today you will transfer back to Uganda’s capital Kampala. Enjoy sighting of enroute flora and fauna with an enroute lunch stopover. Time allowing; embark on souvenir shopping upon your arrival in Kampala’s cultural shopping centers or be transferred to Entebbe to catch your flight back home, depending on your departure flight time.
