Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Pick Up
On arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, you are picked up by our company driver/guide who transfers you to Kampala to your hotel/ lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Cassia Lodge Buziga, Serena Hotel Kampala, Excellent Hotel.
Day 2: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Wake up have breakfast then transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Rukungiri with an en-route stop over for lunch. Enjoy a game drive as you enter the park watching wildlife animals i.e the Uganda Kob, lion, buffalo, topi, leopard etc. After the Game Drive, proceed to your lodge/ hotel for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Mweya Safari Lodge, Hippo Hill Camp, Simba Safari Lodge.
Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kyambura Gorge
Wake up have breakfast then transfer to the Park Headquarters to be briefed on the Dos and Don’ts around the Chimpanzees then later in groups of 8 with an experienced ranger guide, you will transfer to the forest to track the Chimpanzees in their natural habitat at Kyambura Gorge. Along the trails, you will spot various bird species like the Black Bee Eaters, Blue Breasted Kingfisher, Black and African Black Emerald Cuckoos, Speckled Tinker bird, green Hylia, White-spotted Fluftail , etc.and lots of others. After break off for lunch then later proceed to the Kazinga Channel where you will spot a school of hippos and crocodiles beneath the water. Dinner and over night at Mweya safari lodge, Hippo Hill Camp, Simba Safari lodge.
Day 4: Guided Nature Walks in Queen Elizabeth National Park
Wake up have breakfast then transfer on a guided nature walk within the stunning misty Maramagambo forest where you will watch various birds and monkeys i.e the red-tailed and vervet, black and white Colobus and the L’hoests monkey. After, break off for lunch then later transfer to Lake Katwe where Salt Mining is carried out and here, learn the various processes of mining Salt. Dinner and Overnight Mweya Safari Lodge, Hippo Hill Camp, Simba Safari Lodge.
Day 5: Departure to Kampala
After your breakfast depart back to Kampala with your lunch en-route or the Entebbe International Airport to board your flight back home.
