Detailed Itinerary of the 6 Days Uganda Chimps & Bwindi Gorilla Safari

Day 1: Entebbe & Hotel

On dropping at the Entebbe International Airport, meet our driver guide who transfers you to check-in hotel for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Cassi Lodge Buziga.

Day 2: Kibale Forest National Park

Have breakfast then with excitement and vigor, embark with all your luggage towards the Western Part of Uganda towards Fort portal Town. Lunch is en-route as well as views of green terrain then leave the route to Fort portal Town and embark on that to Kibale Forest National Park. On arrival, check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Kibale Forest Camp.

Day 3: Kibale Forest National Park-trek Chimpanzees in Forest

Go to Kibale Forest National Park’s headquarters after breakfast to be precisely briefed on the conduct around the Chimpanzees. Later on groups of 8 with your park ranger, get to the Kanyachu Visitor’s Center where you leave fro to enter the forest to track the Chimpanzees for 2-4 hours and when you meet them, an hour is allowed to stay in their presence taking many photos to keep.

After Chimpanzee Tracking, return to lodge for Dinner and overnight. Kibale Forest Camp.

Day 4: Bwindi Forest National Park

Today enjoy breakfast then embark on transfer to the stunning Bwindi Forest National Park a journey that takes you 3 to 4 hours. Have lunch en-route, views of the green terrain and birds then when you reach the park, continue to check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Haven Lodge Buhoma.

Day 5: Bwindi Forest National Park-Gorilla Trekking in Forest

Today wake up very early and have breakfast at 6:30 am then with your packed lunch, embark on transfer to the headquarters for short briefing on conduct  around the Mountain Gorillas. You are approached by a ranger guide who allocates you to groups of 8 with a ranger per group then later continue to enter the forest to trek the Gorillas for 3-5 hours and when you meet them, an hour is allowed in their presence taking many photos to keep for memories.

When you finish trekking the Gorillas, return to your lodge for Dinner  and Overnight. Haven Lodge Buziga.

Day 6: Kampala or Entebbe

Enjoy your breakfast then with your luggage, embark on departure to Kampala or the Entebbe International Airport to board flight home.
