The 14 Days Wildlife & Gorilla Trekking Tour starts from the Entebbe International Airport, Lake Mburo National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Bwindi Forest National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in Tanzania.

Detailed Itinerary of the 14 Days Gorillas & Serengeti Safari

Day 1: Arrival and Pick up

After arriving at the amazing Entebbe International Airport, you will be picked up by our experienced tour guide/ company representative who will brief you about your trip, then later he will transfer you around Kampala City then later check you into your hotel/ lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Day 2: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

Wake in the morning have breakfast then later transfer to Lake Mburo National Park in western Uganda. The journey will take you about 3-4 hours offering scenic views of the vegetation terrain as well as the long-horned Ankole Cattle that are usually grazing along the way.

You will break off for lunch at the Igongo Cultural Center then later on proceed to the park for the afternoon game drive. After here, you will transfer to your lodge/ hotel for relaxation, dinner and Overnight. Mihingo Lodge-luxury, Mburo Safari Lodge, Rwakobo Rock Lodge.

Day 3 of the 14 Days Gorillas & Serengeti Safari: Game Drive and Boat Cruise

Wake up early in the morning, have breakfast then transfer on an early morning game drive to spot the early riser wildlife animals like the Leopard as well as other animals.

You will have your packed lunch then later on proceed for an afternoon boat cruise along Lake Mburo here you will spot numerous schools of hippos and crocodiles lying beneath the water as well as the shores for the sun.  After the cruising experience, you will transfer back to your lodge/ hotel for relaxation, dinner and Overnight. Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Wake up early in the morning, have breakfast then transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park to experience remarkable wildlife safaris. You will reach in the afternoon for a game drive around the park. You will spot elephants, kobs, antelope, etc wandering around the park. After the game drive, you will transfer to your lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Mweya Safari Lodge, Engazi Game Lodge, Pumba Safari Cottages.

Day 5: Game Drive and Boat Cruise along Kazinga Channel

Wake up early in the morning have breakfast then transfer for an exciting game drive around the park. You will spot numerous wildlife animals then at mid-day to 1: 00 pm, you will break off for lunch. Have a packed lunch then later proceed for your afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel where you will have the opportunity to spot numerous schools of hippos and crocodiles enjoying their habitat to the fullest.

In the evening, you will also enjoy having beautiful views of the stunning sunset along the lake in the distance. Return to your lodge/ hotel for dinner and overnight. Mweya Safari Lodge, Engazi Game Lodge, Pumba Safari Cottages.

Day 6 of  the 14 Days Gorillas & Serengeti Safari: Transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park

Wake up early have breakfast then embark on your transfer via the prominent Ishasha sector to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will transfer for quite some time as you view the green vegetation terrain and majestic Mt. Rwenzori snow peaks in the distance. You will reach the Bwindi Buhoma sector in the evening then you will check in at your lodge/hotel.

After here, you will transfer for a walk around the craft shops to buy gifts to take back home with you. Return to your lodge/ hotel for relaxation, dinner and overnight. Buhoma Lodge, Buhoma Community Rest Camp, Trekker’s Tavern Cottages.

Day 7: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Forest National Park

Wake up very early in the morning and have breakfast then with your driver transfer to the headquarters where you will be briefed about the Dos and Don’ts around the Mountain Gorillas in Bwindi.

You will be distributed in groups of 8 people and a certain Gorilla group to track then later, you will penetrate the forest to search for the gorilla individuals that belong to that certain group. You will search for these for 3-5 hours and when you meet them, only an hour will be allowed for you to stay in their presence.

If you still have time after relaxation, you will transfer for a short guided community walk around the Buhoma Community to experience the Batwa people and culture. Buy some of the crafts to take with you back home. Return to your lodge/ hotel for relaxation, dinner and Overnight. Buhoma Lodge, Buhoma Community Rest Camp, Trekker’s Tavern Cottages.

Day 8: Transfer to Kigali for flight-Arusha Tanzania

Wake up early in the morning take breakfast then transfer through Kisoro traversing the Ugandan border with Rwanda to the Kigali International Airport to board your flight to Kilimanjaro Airport where you will leave to transfer to Arusha where you will relax, have dinner and Overnight. Mount Meru Hotel, Meru House Inn, Premier Palace Hotel, Graceland Hotel.

Day 9: Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park

Today, wake up early in the morning have breakfast then embark on your safari journey to the prominent Lake Manyara National Park where you will experience a very remarkable village walk in the Mto Wa Mbu where you adventure the various local communities as well as their traditions like local banana brewing, food preparation, the Makonde wood Carvings.

You will break off for lunch then in the afternoon, you will proceed for an exciting game drive around the park on which you will spot various wildlife animals like the tree climbing lions, warthogs, zebra, giraffes, baboons, impala, elephant, hippo and wildebeest etc. After, transfer to your lodge/ hotel for dinner and Overnight. Day 10: Game Drive in Lake Manyara National Park

Wake up early in the morning have breakfast then embark on a transfer for another whole day game drive around the amazing park so as to spot the various tree-climbing lions that are usually relaxed in the numerous trees around the park.

These can be spotted here and in Queen’s Ishsaha Sector in East Africa. You will have your packed lunch and transfer back on your game drive then later on after the drive, you will return back to your lodge/ hotel for relaxation, dinner and Overnight. Day 11: Transfer to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast in the morning, transfer to the prominent Serengeti National Park to experience amazing wildlife safaris. You will drive to the Seronera Valley at the centre of the park with beautiful grass plains that inhabit lions as well as hoofed wildlife animals ranging from zebras, wildebeest, kobs, and antelopes to the mongoose. Day 12: Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti

Today wake up have breakfast then transfer on a full-day Game Drive around one of Africa’s prominent wildlife safari National park to spot numerous wildlife animals, especially the wildebeest during their migration to Masai Mara Game Reserve.

This experience is amazing as you will watch various animals enjoying their natural habitat to the fullest. After the game drive in the evening, you will transfer to your lodge/ hotel for relaxation, dinner and Overnight. Serengeti Sopa Lodge, Serengeti Kati Kati Camp, Kijereshi Tented Camp.

Day 13: Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater

Today, you will have breakfast then transfer to the beautiful Ngorongoro Conservation Area and en route, you will have stunning views of the beautiful countryside. You will get there around mid-day-1:00 then have your lunch then later on, transfer on a guided afternoon walk to the crater to explore this amazing volcanic crater.

By chance, you may spot the BIG FIVE mammal species of Africa. After the crater experience, you will transfer back to your lodge/ hotel for relaxation, dinner and Overnight. Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge, Rhotia Valley Tented Lodge, Karatu Simba Lodge.

Day 14: Departure to Arusha 

Wake up have breakfast, then transfer back to Arusha to board your flight back home or transfer to Zanzibar for extra safari experiences.
