The Chimpanzee Tracking Process is almost similar to Gorilla Trekking taking a period of 3-5 hours after being briefed on the Dos and Don’ts around the rare primates of Chimpanzees in their vegetation habitat.

You will be distributed in groups of 6-8 with an experienced guide who will inform you more about the beautiful intelligent species of Chimpanzees.

You will search for them from one place to another in the forest and when you meet them, only an hour is allowed to stay in their presence. The Chimpanzee Tracking permit costs US $150 per person interested.

Other than chimpanzee tracking, one can also take on the Chimpanzee habituation experience that takes the whole day requiring you to stay with the chimpanzee for the whole day from the time they wake up and take on their daily activities until evening when they build new nests to rest/ spend the night.
