Detailed Itinerary of the 5 Days Uganda Wildlife & Birding Tour

Day 1: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Today Queen Elizabeth National Park is your destination fro Entebbe International Airport where you are picked up by a driver guide to transfer you for 4 to 5 hours watching the green terrain vegetation, birds and Mountain Rwenzori. in a distance. On arrival at the Park proceed to check-in your lodge for Dinner then Overnight. Jacana Safari Lodge.

Day 2: Maramagambo Forest-Bird Watching (Queen Elizabeth)

Today wake up early have breakfast then proceed to the headquarters then later to Maramagambo Forest with a driver guide watching different bird species like the Scaly-Breasted Illaopsis, Snowy-headed Robin-Chat and Chestnut Wattle-Eye, Dark Capped Yellow Warbler, Fawn Breasted Waxbill, Black Headed Batis, Brubru and Sulphur Breasted Bush Shrike etc. After watching the birds, transfer back to your lodge/ hotel for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Day 3: Kyambura Gorge – Bird watching

Today have breakfast then embark to the green forest to watch different Birds like Black Bee Eaters, Blue Breasted Kingfisher, Black and African Black Emerald Cuckoos, Speckled Tinker bird, green Hylia, Cormorants, Goliath Herous, Sacred Ibis and fish Eagles, White-spotted Fluftail etc.

En-route watch primates Like the Black and White Colobus, Chimpanzees, Vervet Monkeys and Olive Baboons. Dinner and overnight at Jacana Safari Lodge.

Day 4: Queen Elizabeth National Park-Game Drive

On this Day embark to the Park for a Game Drive along the various tracks watching wildlife animals as well as bird species fly from any point in the Park. The Birds you watch include; African Skimmer, Striated Heron, African Spoonbill, Water Thick-knee, Three-banded Plover, Marsh, Green, Wood and Common Sandpiper, Gray-headed Gull, Plain Martin, Lesser Swamp-Warbler and Yellow-billed Oxpecker and many others. Dinner and overnight at Jacana Safari Lodge.
